Family Vacations

Are you planning an all-inclusive family vacation but worried your children won’t have enough to stay entertained? Or maybe you’re looking for something new for your kids to do that they don’t have the opportunity to try back at home?

This summer, the Velas Vallarta, Grand Velas, and Riviera Nayarit launched a Summer Camp featuring a thorough activities program, and are expecting it to return for the winter! Included in the luxury all-inclusive plan, children can participate in special activities such as cooking classes, sports, movies, contests, tournaments, and crafts!

Upon arrival at the camp, every child will receive an exclusive camp kit. Depending on location, the kit will contain a mixture of:  a backpack or purse, headband, sunglasses, colouring book, camp T-shirt, hat, water jug, and an activities program.

Riviera Nayarit

At the Riviera Nayarit this summer, kids learned to make crafts and had camping nights where they set up tents in the garden, played games, and watched the stars through a telescope! They challenged themselves on the climbing wall and zip-line, and enjoyed picnic BBQ parties filled with food, piñatas, and contests.  For a more relaxing alternative, the kid’s spa offered unique massages, while entertainment such animal shows and magic performances were also an option!

Riviera Maya

At Riviera Maya, weekly activities included shows featuring: superheroes, Maya, Marionettes, Plastimania, magic, and drums. Other activities consisted of dancing, Mexican animal sculpture workshops, Summer Olympics, horseback riding, sushi classes, cooking contests, hippie t-shirt workshops, Mayan Kines, and many more.  From sports to crafts to cultural activities, all will be covered at Camp!

Puerto Vallarta

At Puerto Vallarta, swimming and cooking classes were held from Monday to Saturday where kids learned to make simple dishes from different countries each day.  From Mexican, Argentinean, Italian, to Japanese, children were taken on a culinary journey to learn more about various cultures. Other day activities included games on the beach, water polo and volleyball, sport tournaments, t-shirt decorating, and hip-hop! At night, kids could learn about nature and jungles through games, experience camp life with a camp fire and knot-tying challenge, or take part in medieval-themed challenges.

With such well organized and diverse activities, the Summer Camp success will return with an upcoming winter rendition! So if you want a guaranteed all-inclusive paradise for yourself and your kids, you must consider one of these resorts to ensure an unforgettable, fun, and adventurous winter vacation!
