Family Vacations

Grand Cayman, the largest of three Islands is a great family vacationing spot. Situated on the Seven Mile Beach, one of the Caribbean’s most beautiful and least populated beaches, the Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman delivers an unique family getaway. The Ritz offer their own Seven Mile Beach Wonders including award-winning dining, golf and a spectacular spa. But the most incredible family feature is the very special “Ambassadors of the Environment” Kids Programs designed by Jean-Michel Cousteau.

As part of the Ambassadors Programs, children 4 to 15, can find themselves tracking sea turtles in the Turtle Tales Program and participate in the “Leave only Footprints and Take only Pictures” Focus on Photography Program. As well as join the “Lights, Camera Take Action,” “Underwater Photo Snorkel,” “Sea Floor Submarine Adventure,” “Life on the Edge of the Sea” and “Cosmic Adventure” programs, to name a few.

These Edutainment Programs aim to engage children in fun games while learning about the natural wonders and the rich cultural traditions of the Cayman Islands. It’s really one of the more impressive Kids programs in the Caribbean – especially if you’re looking for more than just babysitting and random playtime.

Here are some example of whole family activities: “Cayman Snorkel Odyssey,” “Have You Ever Seen a Blue Iguana?,” “Mangrove Kayak,” “Night Snorkel,” “Shipwreck Exploration Snorkel,” “Underwater Photography” and “Fish Frenzy Snorkel.”
