Christmas at Velas
November 28, 2016
Now that summer has come to an end and the cooler weather is setting in, many start to think about vacation plans to get back to the sunshine. Have you ever dreamt about spending the holidays somewhere tropical? The luxurious Velas resorts in Mexico have something very special in store this holiday season!
Choose between one of the amazing locations in Puerto Vallarta, Riviera Maya or Riviera Nayarit, and wake up in paradise on Christmas morning.
And just because you’ll be spending the holidays down south doesn’t mean all of the Christmas spirit or traditions will be lost. The Velas resorts have unique plans in place to make your experience just as special as it would be back at home, starting with Christmas trees being delivered to each suite upon arrival at the resort. Have the option of a pre-decorated tree, or be provided with a selection of ornaments to decorate together as a family – your spacious suite will quickly become your own festive home away from home.
In addition to all of the decorations, Santa’s special elves are also on hand at each Velas resort to deliver toys and presents to each suite on Christmas Eve. All of these items, from the ornaments for the tree to the gifts for your loved ones, can be individually pre-selected before your arrival from an online gift shop. The selection of gifts varies from Barbie’s and Legos to luxury accessories and jewelry, based on which resort you stay at.
The best part is for each purchase made on the online gift shop, Velas has a BOGO (‘Buy One Give One’) initiative in place where they will donate a toy to Support Centre for Children with Cancer and the Vallarta Women’s Association. Being able to give back is one of the most special parts about Christmas, and the Velas resorts make this possible for each guest.
Take away the stress and chaos that often comes hand in hand with the holidays and spend Christmas relaxing on the white sandy beaches in Mexico. Trade in the cold and snow for warmth and sunshine as a new tradition this year – what could be better!?
