Reminiscent of an old French country estate, the elegant romance of this 11 bedroom, 10-bath old-world mansion is as expansive as it is luxurious. The colonial French doors grant entrance to this lovely home that features 10,000 square feet of well-appointed extravagance; they open onto a marbled floor hallway that boasts dramatic views out back to the patio, gardens and sea beyond. The grand doublewide staircase seemingly disappears into the heavens above, leading upward to the second floor.

The main floor of this beautiful vacation home features a large, well-equipped kitchen with adjacent service parlor and laundry facilities. The modern kitchen is beautiful with marble countertops, and state of the art appliances, including two large refrigerators, with plenty of space for creating culinary delights.

A spacious formal dining room is perfect for serving up to 12 and is located next to a lovely sitting room; expansive patios that face the ocean and feature comfortable seating areas, outdoor dining areas, a bar, ceiling fans and panoramic ocean views flank these two entertainment areas.

Below the first floor of the main house, there are two large guest suites, each with a king size bed, en- suite bathrooms featuring separate tub and shower, and separate living areas that have queen size sofa beds. Each of these very private, separate guest rooms opens up onto the gardens and enjoys an ocean view.

Upstairs in the main house there are six well appointed bedrooms. The generous master suite has a king size bed and a separate sitting area, which opens onto a private balcony that overlooks the gardens and enjoys panoramic ocean views. There is a huge en-suite bathroom featuring his and her rain showers, his and her toilets, a separate bathtub and a private outdoor Jacuzzi plunge pool. Also upstairs, three other bedrooms each feature a king size bed and en-suite bath with a shower and a tub. Finally, two others share a bathroom, with a king size bed in one of these and two single beds in the other. Two of the upstairs bedrooms, in addition to the master, enjoy access to the upstairs balcony.

Three additional bedrooms are situated in the guest cottage adjacent to the pool. Each guest bedroom of the 2000 square foot cottage enjoys a king size bed and en-suite bath.

The expansive, beautifully landscaped gardens of this 2.2-acre estate enjoy rolling lawns that meander down to the rocky pebble beach below, and an expansive freeform pool with cascading waterfalls.  Near the town of Soufriere, and situated in Beau Estate below the World Heritage site of the Pitons of St. Lucia, La Belle Helene is within waking distance of Viceroy Sugar Beach hotel and a white sand beach.
