Graceful Crystal Springs estate is one of the most desirable private villas on Barbados. This especially charming property is set within 1.7 acres of tropical gardens and lawn that lead to a small private cove beach just below the main house; with clear calm waters cordoned for safety. The villa was originally built in the 1940’s, was re-designed by the famous designer Oliver Messel in the 1960’s and was lovingly renovated and restored in 2014. The romantic style of Oliver Messell is evident at Crystal Springs in the coral stone walls, arches, columns with carved capitals, and marble and coral stone floors – all of which accentuate the elegant ambiance of this tropical paradise. The forty-five foot private swimming pool is set on the lawn with a furnished terrace.

Six buildings, connected by coral stone terraces and pathways, are set within the garden’s stunning tropical foliage. The Main House at Crystal Springs provides formal living and dining rooms. Columned archways open to the gardens and ocean views.   Each of Crystal Springs’ buildings offers ample space for relaxation or entertaining.

Comfortably hosting 20 guests, each bedroom boasts an en-suite bathroom. The main house hosts three air-conditioned bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Just through the garden and overlooking the private cove beach is the Annex offering two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and a wonderful furnished terrace. The Tea House Cottage offers one bedroom suite and two murphy beds; perfect for young families. The Pool House and Pavilion offer two connecting bedrooms and each bedroom features an en-suite bathroom. The on-site home theater contains reclining seating for twelve, an ice machine, fridge, and DirecTV.

The excellent staff of 16 at Crystal Springs includes two butlers, cook, assistant cook, four housekeepers, two laundresses, gardener, and night watchman, who provide discreet and experienced service. Guests of Crystal Springs enjoy access to a private speedboat (included in full rental rates only) and boatman, a Sunfish sailboat, and two stand-up paddleboards. Crystal Springs is conveniently located between Holetown & Speightstown offering convenient venues for shopping, superior cuisine and an exciting nightlife. A prefect large family getaway!
